Record Weakfish Caught

Record Weakfish Caught
Rick Fink caught this 12.95 pound weakfish off of South Beach on Staten Island, NY. This is a pending 20-pound tippet line class world record. It beats the old record by more than 2 pounds. Fink caught this fish on an 8-weight TFO TiCrX rod with a Van Stahl reel and was using a chartreuse/white Clouser Minnow. This is Fink's second line-class record. He previously owned the 20-pound tippet record for striped bass (36.4 pounds), which was broken last year.
