Conventional wisdom would say that Northern Dynasty Minerals will down play everything to get their foot in the door. they are in this business for one reason only; to line the pockets of the extreme few until they bulge, using the resources of the many. If NDM gets their foot in the door and when the unthinkable happens as it always does they will simply say Oops, the lawyers will then go to work and play out the scenario. the cost for these leaches has already been calculated out for the project; when that money has been used then they will go to mitigation. if you think that they have not already calculated out what mitigation will cost down to nearly the penny on any project they are involved in including this one you are hugely mistaking. The cost for NDM doing all of the above is calculated out to a percentage of what they truly figure on recovering from the project. they will not be "out" one dime ever. on the flip side the Tribes ,State and Fed Govt. will be out millions.
